Nice solo show, Rob. One thing I’d like to say is that listeners should be careful to generalize about “BSD” based on experiences with TrueOS. I get the impression that TrueOS is a pretty poor reflection on FreeBSD (on which it is based). And of course FreeBSD and NetBSD and OpenBSD all forked from one another over 20 years ago, so whatever characteristics they share, there are also some big differences.
Yeah, As you’ll hear when you listen to the next show, TrueOS may not be a good representation of the BSD world overall. 🙂
