Awesome show as always guys. I mentioned in the live chat that there were more screensavers for Cinnamon 2.6 beyond just the “stars” one. Seems that I was wrong. There were previously other screensavers, such as a “Tower of Hanoi” one, but found out that they were removed due to memory and power issues. Currently, there’s no timetable set for their return. Hopefully they will reappear on the next version of Cinnamon or another future release.

You can install screensavers yourself from various packages after installation, and they will then appear in the Cinnamon list. the rss-glx package in particular has some pretty slick ones. NB for this particular package I have noticed that some screensavers can hang around in memory after browsing them, so log out and in once you have found one you like, if you have this issue. xscreensaver-data-extra and xscreensaver-gl-extra are other packages of screensavers that can be similarly added
