Very nice little discussion with Joe. I started listening around the time Joe joined Mint Cast, so it is fun to think back to that time. You wisely avoided asking Joe his opinion of Linux Mint 🙂
I agree with Joe about the show having too many hosts. It is difficult to keep track of all the hosts, though that doesn’t bother me too much. What bothers me more is what the large number of hosts does to the flow of the show. Segments like the bi-weekly wanderings are really long without having much depth or back and forth. A lot of different subjects get touched upon — more than I can keep up with. Maybe this problem will be solved with attrition, but, if not, I would recommend changing things up somehow. Maybe rotate hosts, either by show or by segment, so only a few hosts are on at a time.
Episode 300 has been really nice. It is a shame you weren’t able to get Scott on the show since you got all of the other long running hosts.
