You mention a distro made to run on chromebooks, can you let me know wich one is it?
Check out GalliumOS. Believe that is the one we were referencing.
The one that I’ve used, and I think we’ve referred to before is “Linux Mint 17.1 for Acer C720” (https://www.distroshare.com/distros/get/57/). It’s specifically for the C720. I have upgraded the installation to Mint 17.3 without difficulty.
