404.5 – 2022 Distro Rundown

This week in our Innards, We do a rundown of our favorite distros of 2022

In “Check This Out” we talk about a graphical tool Londoner shared that makes light work of scheduling a shutdown or reboot. Moss shares his experience with the Flatpak of a favorite game of his; and we share an article postulating the death of Unix.

Nice review of your favorite distros!

I have checked LMDE earlier and I have become more curious with the arrival of LMDE 5. I have the intention to see how it can manage the applications I use on the regular Mint. We’ll see if my comparison project will be executed! On the surface, LMDE 5 and Mint 21.1 Cinnamon really are very similar.

      Hi Henrik!

I think LMDE continues to be an interesting concept. I’ve tried other versions in the past. The main difference is the you don’t necessarily have access to the Ubuntu stuff which may or may not be important to you. For someone who is comfortable with vanilla Debian, LMDE would just add a bit more polish to the experience.
