Thank you Charles and the mintCasct Team.

You are doing a great job. Linux Mint and OS Linux in general. It's a very well balanced Podcast and i like the music too. It fits, it works.

    Hardware tips - The Economist
Kid's Future - Blog of Helios Project.

    Notes:
Missing entries on the blog after Basket

    Gnome Do
    Feedbacks

In the middle of the Podcast when your friend speaks, strange noises comes along with his voice. It's a little annoying but the subject, the result, itselves are Good!

Keep up the good work. Happy New Year!

    - A Debian GNU/LINUX / Linux Mint user

    Regards

Sorry about the popping and crackling in my mic. I tried to apologize at the beginning of my segment about the bad sound quality. I actually had to re-record the whole second half of my segment because the popping got so bad. I am looking on Amazon as we speak for a non-usb/non-wireless mic. Should be all better by the next time I record.

      Thanks for the feedback.

Can you please feedburner or otherwise format the casts, I cannot get the rss feed to feed my nokia E71, which is highly irritating as I want to listen to the casts on this device, and other rss feeds work perfectly well (e.g. http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio2/wogan/rss.xml )

I was using NoteCase for a long time for note taking, but it has been recently discontinued. It's still good, but it won't be updated any more. As I wanted a note taking program that is cross-platform, I finally found one called TakeNote. It's simple, but does what I need well.

At the beginning of the show, when mentioning LM6, you briefly discussed OOo2 vs. OOo3.
My top (only got two) reasons, IMHO, to update to OOo3:
    1. If you write in multiple languages, installing new dictionaries has gotten MUCH simpler! It is no longer done with that crappy DictOO wizard, but via an "Extension Manager", similar to the Mozilla Add-ons manager.
    2. Support for MS-Office 2007? document format.

Updating is quite easy. I created an OpenOffice.org3.mint that does the whole thing for you and sent it to Clem. Not sure if he already put it in the Mint repos. I could forward it to you (or anyone) if need be; just ask.
